Terms and Conditions of Service

These terms explain how we work when you book a roof lining repair or replacement with Mobile Roof Linings Brisbane. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy and website terms. Please read them before you book, and call us on 0410 104 145 if anything is unclear.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the consumer guarantees that apply to our services under the Australian Consumer Law. These guarantees apply regardless of any warranty we offer. See our warranty page for details.

1. Who we are

Mobile Roof Linings Brisbane repairs and replaces sagging car roof linings (headliners) at your home or workplace in Brisbane Northside, Brisbane Southside and Ipswich, with work also offered on the Gold Coast. You can also bring your vehicle to our upholstery shop at 59 Lobb Street, Churchill. Our phone number is 0410 104 145.

2. Quotes and bookings

  1. Free quote. We offer a free quote for roof lining repairs. To give you an accurate quote we will ask for your vehicle make, model and year, your location, and whether the car has a sunroof or DVD player.
  2. Quotes depend on the information you give us. If the vehicle turns out to differ from what you described, for example it has a sunroof that was not mentioned, we may need to update the quote. We will tell you before we start work.
  3. Booking. A booking is confirmed when we agree a date, a time window and a location with you. If you need to change a booking, please let us know as early as you can.

3. Work at your home or workplace

  1. Access and space. Please make sure we can park near the vehicle and work safely around it. A covered or shaded area is helpful but not essential.
  2. Safe working conditions. We may postpone or reschedule a job if conditions are unsafe, for example during severe weather or if the vehicle cannot be accessed.
  3. Time. Our work is advertised as taking about an hour for a typical roof lining repair. The actual time depends on the vehicle, the condition of the existing lining and whether a sunroof or other fittings are involved. If a job will take noticeably longer than expected we will tell you.
  4. Personal belongings. Please remove valuables and loose items from the vehicle before we arrive.

4. Vehicle condition and what we can repair

  • Before we start we check the condition of the roof lining board and its backing. In some vehicles the existing board is too damaged, water-stained or warped to be re-covered and a different approach is needed. We will explain your options and any change to the price before we proceed.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, leaks, rust, wiring faults or defects in the vehicle that were not caused by our work. If we notice any, we will tell you.
  • Roof lining repair does not repair water leaks. If your roof lining has been damaged by a leak, the leak should be fixed separately or the new lining may be affected.

5. Payment

The price you are quoted is the price you pay, unless the job changes as described above. Please ask us about payment methods when you book. We will give you a receipt on request.

6. Warranty

Our work comes with a warranty, which is described on our warranty page. The warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Cancellations and delays

If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as early as possible and offer a new time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us as soon as you can so that we can offer the time to another customer.

8. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for damage caused by problems that existed in the vehicle before we began. This does not exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and it does not apply where it would be unlawful.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our work, please call us first on 0410 104 145 so we can try to put things right. You can also contact Queensland's Office of Fair Trading or the ACCC for information about your consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to your job.

This page is general information about how our service works. It does not replace legal advice.
